This is the page where we bring you up to date with what is happening locally and otherwise - whenever we remember. You can also look at our blog. It features photos from recent classes, an EQ doodles page and news of what we're both getting up to - mostly preparing for forthcoming classes! And our photo gallery with photos from classes on flickr is now up and running. We're also adding some of our EQ doodles to the flickr page.

Trentham Quilt Show - Important info

We've just had an e-mail from Margaret - the events pavilion at Trentham Gardens was severely damaged in the heavy snow we had last weekend and probably won't be available in April. Margaret has therefore moved the Quilt Show to Uttoxeter Racecourse a few miles away. Details of how to find the Racecourse and where to stay are here. The Show will still be on Friday 9th - Sunday 11th April. Uttoxeter Racecourse is also a Conference venue and has all the facilities you would expect - on-site catering etc.

We will be there with our stand and hope that as many of you as possible will come to support the Show.

Sew-Along Sampler - the fifth block (Whirlpool) is now available on our Free Patterns page. Make a block each month to build into a sampler quilt - or make lots of the same block as we'll be giving you plenty of ideas for quilts.

I have also corrected the link to the Hourglass block - you now get the sampler quilt instructions and not the project (I hope!)

 
Pollyanna Patchwork is now open Thursday, Friday and Saturday in Eccleshall.

Quiltfest in Llangollen - details on their website

Saturday 27th Feb. Stone  - Reversible Runner workshop. Make a table runner and do the patchwork and quilting on both sides at the same time. A different design from last year's popular class. Station Saturdays are designed to be a relaxing day out away from the usual rush; just sit and sew something which can be completed in the day. The needs list is now available. Still a couple of places available.

March 2010

March 13th. Tittensor. Flying Geese. Sorry, this class is full. The needs list is now available.

March 27th Stone Station. Make a Raggy Cushion. Still a couple of places left. Learn a new technique and complete a cushion to take home.

April 2010

9th - 11th April - Quilts in the Garden. Trentham Quilt Show. We'll be demonstrating and hope to see you there. Bring the family as there's lots for them to do in Trentham Gardens, the Monkey Forest and Aerial Extreme high wire adventure park.
